Land ownership audit results finally released

Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti on Monday released an audit of land ownership in South Africa, nearly a decade after it was first started in 2005.  The audit showed that more than 96-million hectares (79%) of land was privately owned and more than 17-million hectares (14%) was state land.
