ANC accedes land, housing challenges; sets out its action plan

At its 2015 National General Council (NGC), one of the topics the African National Congress will be discussing is land reform, housing, and human settlements.
Rural Development and Land Reform has a discussion document dedicated to it, which sets out an extensive set of measures to address South Africa’s housing backlog.
The ruling party says it agrees that much more needs to be done to deliver basic services, such as houses, to South Africans, but believes it has a substantive plan to address this issue, as well as that of land reform.
